The first Attempt to Found Kuwait Technical Analysis Association was on November 2002 the, this attempt didn't succeeded due to the lack of technical analysis knowledge at this time. However, the last 2 years witnessed a massive  demand on technical analysis reports, this results some unprofessional manors between the market participants. On October 2006 during the annual IFTA conference (in Switzerland this year), the IFTA Board voted to accept the Kuwait Technical Analysis Association as a Developing Society.  This status means that KTAS enjoys all the benefits of Full Members of IFTA, except for voting rights.  The Developing Society status is maintained for two years, after which you may apply for progression to Full Member status.

The Mission of this Society shall be to:
A) Educate the public and the investment community to the value and universality of
technical analysis.
B) Attract and retain a membership of professionals devoting their efforts to using and expanding the field of technical analysis

IFTA PDF Print E-mail

The International Federation of Technical Analysts offers certification to  Professional Technical Analysts around the world. IFTA Colleagues (members of an IFTA-affiliated society) may apply for the "Certified Financial Technician" program. Examinations for both stages of this program (foundation and certificate levels) are held twice annually in various locations and languages.
